(via Nikkor 12-24mm Flickr group) the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 12-24mm f4G is epicly wide. Really really really epic. 90 deg horizontal field of view! Canon’s EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 is slightly wider (and vaguely cheaper)  but I wonder how it stacks up optically to the 12-24.  It’s not easy using an ultra wide-angle to good effect though.
