This is how my Adobe CS4 upgrade box got shipped: it’s entirely made in Singapore, shipped from Adobe’s warehouse here from Techwah Value Chain, with invoice and export packing slip from Adobe Systems Software Ireland. It’s a 30x27x22cm FedEx carton, containing a 20x15x5cm box, yielding about 8.5% efficiency by volume.
Guess what the box says in the print on the back?
As part of Adobe’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the outside packaging was specifically designed to minimize environmental impact. It combines recycled board stock and a die-cut production method with folding inserts to minimize glue use. To minimize use of materials, the packaging is smaller in size and manuals are no longer included but are available online.
Fail.
