This is a damn good time to go shopping for those who can afford a MacBook Pro.. get a refurb 2.5/2GB/250GB/8600M GT 512MB hell of a 17” or a new 2.4/2GB/250GB/9400M + 9600M GT 256MB unibody 15” for the same price. The graphics in the newest gen model doesn’t matter to most students anyway.
It’s the poor kids on MacBooks that are struggling to run FCP and Motion..
