What need an impersonator, when we have the person?

Your life is one jellybean in a tub of other flavours. I’m sure as hell the guy who bought that tub is gonna get pissed off if he tasted 60 Liquorice tablets out of 100. He might not like the coconut flavour, or the taste of popcorn caramel, but damn, after 60 of the same he’s gonna appreciate the change from the norm.

Granted, it’s natural for there to be people who think and behave alike but as long as it’s sincere, I see no reason to demand any more. Don’t behave to please or behave to fit in. Behave as you are. Behave as you feel. Behave as you think.

Behave as you believe.

Ikea sells some rather interesting salted licorice though. 

Hmm, what if I behave differently to avoid misunderstandings instead? I have very different styles on IM, with different people, because the small things like “…” get read very differently by some people. I do that too. 

Over these few years I’ve gotten (relatively) more confrontational and assertive in manner.. but will I stand up for my beliefs? I used to and still behave to please when it is advantageous to do so, but it’s now much easier to flip the pancake.
