I was munching on a Sub on the way back when something flipped. Americans (in general, where food are concerned, [insert other qualifying statements here]) are control freaks.
That’s why you have Subway (especially toppings), Starbucks (“triple grande sugar-free hazelnut soy x-foam latte”), In-N-Out Burger (custom burger of any specs), and probably lots of other chains that I’ve never heard of. Even McDonalds here does burgers without pickles if you ask.
I don’t actually relish this kind of choice. Yoshinoya’s menu is much easier for me to handle.
